Deputy Lead Engineer

Foundations of Your Job As a Deputy Lead Engineer at TWD, you are ready to take on a big project, which will get you ready to take on a more leading role in the short term. You will start with typical Project Engineer responsibilities., designing unique structural and mechanical installation tools for construction projects. At the same time, you will be responsible for the entire project, including its quality, budget, planning, and project members. You will also manage client and (parent) suppliers communication for this project.
After you have mastered this role, you will start acting more as a sparring partner in the design process, which includes overseeing new client requests, planning, and client relations. Additionally, you will be the main responsible for the management and development of multiple project teams, consisting of 10-15 members. You will be involved with People & Culture in recruiting new team members and contribute to TWD’s overall growth by interfacing with other departments within TWD.
A glimpse of your responsibilities:
Collaborating with your team to create functional designs that meet the project requirements
Working with your team to conduct the technical set up and execution of detailed calculations and reports
Acting as a liaison between the team and the client
Setting up, monitoring, and communicating the project planning and corresponding budget, assuring quality and timely delivery
Supporting the development and growth of project members
Recognizing sales opportunities within projects and writing quotations
Close cooperation with senior engineers and designers for company-wide improvements
Identifying sales opportunities within projects and preparing quotations
Monitoring client satisfaction
Managing and developing your team within the TWD vision

You have 4+ years of working experience as an Engineer
Prior experience in project management
Prior experience leading a project team
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field, including but not limited to:
Mechanical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Aerospace Engineering
