Internal - Sales Engineer

Job summary

As sales engineer you are working in our commercial team. According to our own sales engineers the only position in the company where you experience direct competition of our competitors. You are responsible to translate client requests into clear quotations and win us new projects. You are in direct contact with our clients and are the first point of contact for them. As such you are the face of the company. You arrange clarification meetings, and make sure that the right expertise is brought into the discussions. You will discuss with all senior TWD personel on a daily basis to create good proposals. Furthermore you will manage expectations of the client in terms of planning, budget, scope of work and level of detail. In a short amount of time you will learn a lot on our track record and discuss technical proposals on a high level.

Qualifications

For this position we are looking for somebody with the following prerequisites:

  • Has worked at TWD for at least 1 year

  • Is in control of personal tasks and responsibilities

  • Can easily communicate with clients and acts in a representative way

  • Is able to translate a client request into a clear project plan

  • Is not shy to discuss technical proposals and creative solutions

  • Has knowledge of method engineering for typical installations (monopiles, bridges, caissons etc.) and can challenge installation methods of the client.

  • Know-how of TWDs way of working to determine proper budget estimates

  • Can explain the TWD track record and services and understands our unique selling points

  • Has a competitive mindset and wants to win new projects
