Foundations of Your Job
As a Business Developer, you are TWD’s eyes and ears to the offshore wind industry, where you spot new opportunities. As a spider in the web, you collaborate with sales and marketing to get the job in, catching your client’s attention with the right marketing, convincing the client with an ingenious concept and a good proposal. Whilst also developing cutting-edge new tools and services for the future of offshore wind, working together with the innovations team.

A glimpse of your responsibilities:

Stay up to date with what happens in the offshore wind industry
Develop smart construction methodologies for a variety of offshore wind-related projects
Develop concept designs of practical installation equipment, collaborate with the “Innovations-team” to materialize your ideas
Initiate relevant marketing campaigns to grab your client’s attention and develop those together with the marketing team.
Initiate new and maintain existing TWD client relations, e.g. through business trips in Europe & USA
Spot opportunities and secure new TWD projects
Develop yourself in the commercial team

What Makes You Great
We are looking for a smart and eager person with a practical backbone and the following profile:

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field
You have 2-5 years of working experience
You are a creative problem solver with a commercial mindset
You are a passionate, quick learner and have strong technical insight
You are a communicative team player
You are flexible and able to come up with ingenious solutions
You are enthusiastic, self-driven, and eager to work in an entrepreneurial environment
You have a sense of responsibility to get the job done
