Foundations of Your Job As a Senior Designer at TWD, you are the main designer in a dynamic team of 10-15 (Project) Designers and (Project) Engineers. You are in constant collaboration with your team and, together with your Lead Engineer and Senior Engineer, you are responsible for guiding the design process from concept to detail. You make crucial decisions that lead to the creation of customized solutions to meet our clients' specific needs, which focus on the development of unique structural and mechanical installation tools for a wide variety of on- and offshore construction projects.
A glimpse of your responsibilities:
Translating client requests into ingenious designs
Acting as a sparring partner for all Designers (and Engineers) in your team
Guiding and delivering input
Safeguarding the quality of technical designs while focusing on manufacturability and the use of drafting standards
Developing your knowledge on technical topics and sharing this knowledge with the team
What Makes You Great You are an expert in the creative design of structures and equipment from concept to detail using 2D and 3D modeling software.Your enthusiasm, eye-for-detail, and troubleshooting abilities drive the design process efficiently and proactively. You are the perfect match for TWD if you also have the following skills and experience:
You have 3-6 years of working experience as a Design Engineer, designing innovative structures from concept to detail using relevant drafting tools like SolidWorks or Inventor
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field, including but not limited to:
Mechanical Engineering
Aerospace Engineering
Aeronautical Engineering
Industrial Design Engineering
