Foundations Of Your Job

TWD develops practical construction methods and related installation equipment for offshore & near-shore infrastructure projects. Development of the most suitable method and installation equipment is driven by site-specific boundary conditions, like soil conditions.

A glimpse of your responsibilities:

Interpreting site investigation data for offshore and nearshore projects
Design of (temporary) foundations (deep and shallow)
Managing geotechnical interfaces together with TWD’s structural / mechanical engineers
Assessing ground related risks over different TWD projects
Advising on and evaluate structural / mechanical mitigations to deal with the ground related risks
Advising junior (geotechnical) engineers on calculation methods to be used
Verifying and approve the work of colleagues

MSc in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
5+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering
- Offshore Geotechnical experience considered beneficial
- Experience with design or installation of piled foundations is considered beneficial
- Affinity with multi-disciplinary projects
