Technical Lead
The Technical Lead has the responsibility to develop and maintain specialist knowledge personally and within the department. He/she is the Lead on a Technical topic within TWD, provides professional consultation towards clients and increases efficiency by specialization. Within TWD as a group the Technical Lead, Advisors and Principle Engineer are responsible to maintain all relevant knowledge required within TWD. The Technical Lead is the junior function in this field and functions as a step in between Seniors and Technical Advisors. The Technical Lead is managed by the Engineer Manager, but operates within TWD as a whole, the TL has the freedom but also the responsibility to make sure that advice given to clients on his/her topic is of good quality.
Foundations of Your Job
The Technical Lead is the face towards all clients and provides professional consultancy on their topic of expertise. They can help a Project Responsible to convince a client by bringing more experience to the table or provide a standalone service to clients. You share your knowledge to other departments and countries. As you become known as the expert on a topic more questions will automatically come in. You are also a coach or mentor to train engineers/designers on their expertise.

- Develop and maintain specialist knowledge on a defined topic.
- Increasing efficiency on tasks related to expertise.
- Assuring technical quality of designs.
- Increasing technical knowledge of Engineers and Designers
- Developing and expanding TWD skillset and working methods
- Providing creative input and experience in (concept) design & sales trajectory
- Collaboration and cooperation between departments
What Makes You Great
You have a passion for technology and a keen eye for detail. You know how to listen to others, inspire them, and share practical examples from your own experience. You are adaptable, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and ready to work in a dynamic environment. You take responsibility for completing your tasks with quality and efficiency.
- 5-8 years of experience in the equipment design.
- Prior experience managing project
- Consultancy approach with internally and with external clients
